"INGEDDU TFULITNA" - A FESTIVAL OF MALTESE TRADITIONAL GAMES - B'BUGIA - SUNDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER

We have been entrusted by the Birzebbugia Local Council to organise a Festival to highlight the Maltese traditional games.

"Ingeddu Tfulitna" will be held at Pretty Bay, B'Bugia on Sunday 19th September from 19 hrs onwards.

The promenade will be fully decorated with Grandmasters flags and banners. There will be Maltese artisan stands and local products stands and much more....

The children will have also the opportunity to take a ride on a traditional Maltese cab ( karrozzin) and all this is free of charge...

8 animators in Maltese folk costumes will be at 4 different spots and encorage the public to join in the traditional games such as "Il-Passju", "Il-Bocci/zibeg", "Dawra Durella", "Bum Bum il-bieb", etc..... A narrator will explain about the games origins. While all this is going on folk music will be performed by the Jackson Folk trio who will be roaming arouad the area.

Apart from all this, there will be much more animation services such as stilt walkers, falconeers and other animators along the Pretty Bay unique promenade.

While all this is going on at the Greek Theatre which is situated also at the same venue there will be a full folk programme by the Mnarja Folk Group from Gozo and finally a live concert by the popular Freddie Portelli which will bring the event to an end at around 23 hrs.

KIDS AREA DURING A TRIBALI CONCERT - MTARFA - SUNDAY 10TH OCTOBER

We will be taking care of the Kid's Area during the Tribali Concert sheduled for Sunday 10th October at Mtarfa.

At the Kid's Area we will be providing three environmental theme kids shows dealing with global warning, recycling and energy saving.

Apart from that we will having cartoon characters and the popular Xummiemu roaming around and also face painting services. All this between 16hrs to 20 hrs at Mtarfa on Sunday 10th October.

 


SIXTEES & SEVENTEES MUSIC LIVE CONCERT AT SWIEQI - FRIDAY 10TH SEPTEMBER

On the occassion of Swieqi Day 2010, we will be presenting a Live Concert of sixtees and seventees music at Swieqi on Friday 10th September

This will be performed by the Mro. Paul Abela Band who will be accompanied by singers Aldo Busuttil, Sophie, Debbie Scerri and J Anvil.

Entrance is free of charge......

 


FIREWORKS LOGO - SALUTING BATTERY - UPPER BARRAKKA GARDENS - WEDNESDAY 15TH SEPTEMBER

Together with Malta Fireworks, we will be providing a small fireworks display during a touristic event being held at the Saluting Battery, Upper Barrakka Gardens.

The event is being handled by Jugs@Malta.

 


MOSTA DOME FESTIVAL 2010 - FRIDAY 15TH OCTOBER

We have been entrusted by the Mosta Local Council to provide various services during the 2nd edition of the Mosta Dome Festival which is scheduled for Friday 15th October, 2010.

The event will kick off at 19hrs and will run till 1 hrs.

A main stage will be set up at the Rotunda Carpark. A full show will be held on this stage featuring Claudia Faniello, Joe Demicoli, Debbie Scerri, Ludvig Galea, Thea Garrett, a fashion show by YesusdeMaris with the participation of Tristan B, various dance performances and much more. This programme will be compered by Kirby Fenech and Augusto Cardinali. The show on the main stage will come to an end by a live concert by Freddie Portelli.

A stage will be set up also at St. Leonard Square ( near City Bar) where there will be a rock concert by two different bands - Dolls for Idols and Colour Blind.

Opposite the Rotunda Church, at Kurrad Calleja Street there will be various re-anactments with the theme "L-Ilsira f'Malta".

Another stage will be set up at Parish Street corner with the Rotunda, where there will be country live music by the duo Breezes.

A 3 hour show will be held on another stage also at Parish Street ( corner with the 5th Avenue Cafeteria. Show will be compered by the popular comedian Tonio Vella and will feature amongst many others the folk duo Greenfields and Olvia Lewis.

At the 16th September Square, there will be another live concert with the participation of the Johnny Cash Band, Marilyn Mifsud and the Airport Impressions.

Along Eucharistic Congress Street there will be a modern carshow, while at Main Street there will be a dog show by the Police Squad. Along Constitution street there will be the In Guardia re-anactment and also Martial Arts display.

At the 16th September Square one can also admire a motorcycle show. For kids there will be a lot of games such as zoom around kiddy rides, a merrygoround, childrens train, bouncing castles and also quite a lot of animators roaming a round. The Childrens area will be at Rotunda Square and will feature also magical shows by Jeffrey Buhagiar.

Around Rotunda Square also, there will be a lot of stands featuring Maltese artistans such as filigree, clay, crafts, etc. A few metres away there will be also a hairshow by Glowing Heads and also free hair makeovers for everyone who would like to.

At Kurrad Schembri Street the Mosta Scout Group will be setting up there firecamp after parading along Mosta Streets. Parading also along Mosta Streets there will be the Tama Tnabar group.

At Main Street, there will be a concert by the Nicolo Isouard Band if front of their Band Club premises.

There will be also a musical concert at the Mosta Dome, which will remain open till late for this particular occassion.

A free Park & Ride service will be available from "L-Gharusa tal-Mosta" garden to Mosta centre and back till the end of the event.

There will be also a lot of food/drink stalls serving all types of food and drinks such as wine, cocktail bar, ice cream, candy floss, donuts, "kannoli", wraps, pork, chicken and much more.

The event will kick off at 19 hrs with the Malta Dancers Parade with the participation of around 500 dancers from different dance schools.

And all this is free of charge for everyone to enjoy.
